Marks & Spencer has one of the UK's largest retail estates with over 600 stores in the portfolio, 22 stores located in Northern Ireland and a further 19 stores in Eire.
SGP manages Marks & Spencer's service charge exposure for it's Irish portfolio, ensuring that charges are legitimate and applied correctly.
Our relationship has grown with the awarding of a contract to manage rating liability across their UK store portfolio. The contract, which covers rating appeals and scrutinising liability, was awarded to coincide with the release of the 2010 Rating List re-evaluation.
SGP now provides rating scrutiny services, examining a wide range of variables such as occupation dates. Rating appeals work is being provided through a partnership with Philip Long & Co.
