B&Q requires a round the clock reactive store maintenance service to co-ordinate the delivery of all building related activities. SGP's service is in place to ensure that whatever may occur, the B&Q customer experience is maintained, trading hours are maximised and value for money is achieved.

To maintain their leading position within the market, B&Q undertakes a rolling refurbishment programme to ensure that stores continue to meet their customers' expectations.
In many cases, refurbishment renders either the whole store or areas of the sales floor void for a certain period of time. SGP has worked with B&Q during their refurbishment programmes to ensure that their rating liability is correct throughout these periods.
In 2010, SGP was awarded a contract with B&Q sister company Screwfix to provide store maintenance services across their 162 store portfolio.
