The SUBWAY® chain serves fresh, ready- to-eat food. The first SUBWAY® was opened in the USA in 1965 and since the first UK outlet was opened in Brighton the chain has grown to over 1,400 franchised outlets across the country.

EIPC is an independent franchisee owned organisation established to enable SUBWAY franchisees to gain the advantages of scale purchasing.

Maintenance Management

SGP worked with EIPC to develop ServiceNet, 24/7 support helpdesk for managing equipment maintenance. The franchisee model posed the challenge of developing an on-line payment model as each franchisee is its own individual business.

ServiceNet significantly reduces the amount of time that franchisees need to spend organising repairs and maintenance for their store equipment. It also provides EIPC with valuable information to help measure and improve equipment and supplier performance, and to inform future purchasing decisions.

SGP has been a particularly supportive partner in the development of ServiceNet and in its ongoing evolution, showing flexibility and a willingness to drive out the best solutions for franchisees. EIPC continues to draw on the industry leading support, experience and resources at SGP and SGP team members have at all times provided clear, concise and positive contributions to EIPC and its member franchisees.
